Blotter On Feb. 29, a 38-year-old man was arrested and charged with participating in a speed contest on the corner of Alamo Street and Santa Lucia Street. On the 3900 block of E. Downey Court, a 29-year-old man was arrested March 4 and charged with evading police, possession of methamphetamines, possession of burglary tools, driving on a suspended license, auto theft and receiving stolen property. A 9mm semi-automatic handgun valued at $600 was reported stolen from a home on the 3000 block of Geronimo Avenue on March 5. A teacup Chihuahua valued at $500 was reported stolen March 6 from a home on the 1600 block of Wilton Street. On March 6, a 42-year-old man was arrested on the 2600 block of Park Center Drive and charged with theft with priors. A residential burglary resulting in the loss of $4,003 worth of tools was reported March 7 from the 300 block of E. Bonita Drive. A 39-year-old man was arrested at an undisclosed location on March 7 and charged with criminal threats and battery causing great bodily injury. A 19year-old man was also arrested and charged with battery causing great bodily injury. On the 1200 block of E. Los Angeles Avenue, an 18-year-old man was arrested and charged with violating gang registration on March 7. A 37-year-old man was arrested at an undisclosed location on March 8 and charged with residential burglary. On March 8, a 36-year-old woman, a 55-year-old woman, a 41-year-old man and a 42-year-old man were arrested on Hagen Court and charged with battery. A residential burglary resulting in the loss of $9,000 worth of sports equipment was reported March 8 from a home on the 2200 block of E. Pinecrest Street. Electronics and jewelry valued at $1,470 were reported stolen from a home on the 600 block of Talbert Avenue on March 8. A 50-year-old man was arrested March 9 at an undisclosed location and charged with indecent exposure. On March 9, a 40-year-old woman was arrested and charged with grand theft shoplifting on the 2900 block of Cochran Street. A vehicle burglary resulting in the loss of $660 worth of electronics was reported March 9 from the 2500 block of Erringer Road. Camera and video equipment valued at $9,645 were reported stolen March 10 from a vehicle on the corner of Tapo Canyon Road and Lost Canyons Drive. A 24-year-old man was arrested on the corner of Sycamore Drive and Royal Avenue on March 10 and charged with exhibition of speed and possession of marijuana while driving. On March 10, a vehicle burglary resulting in the loss of $1,000 worth of auto parts was reported from the 2200 block of Timberlane Avenue. An 18-year-old man was arrested March 10 at an undisclosed location and charged with grand theft from a motor vehicle. Auto parts valued at $900 were reported stolen from a vehicle on the 5600 block of E. Bloomfield Street on March 11. Auto parts valued at $1,000 were also reported stolen from a vehicle on the 5700 block of E. Bloomfield Street.
A 45-year-old man was arrested March 12 on the corner of Tapo Canyon Road and Presidio Drive, and charged with driving a bicycle under the influence of alcohol or drugs. |
