Simi Prez hosting weekly faith-based recovery group
Sufferers of all types will be welcomed

The Simi Valley Presbyterian Church is hosting a "Celebrate Recovery" program at the church, 4832 Cochran St., Simi Valley.

The program, which uses eight recovery principles and the Christ-centered 12 steps, is for anyone who has been affected by alcoholism, divorce, sexual abuse, domestic violence, codependency, drug addition, compulsive eating, sexual addition, gambling addiction, or other life challenges.

The group meets every Friday night with the following schedule: 6 to 7 p.m., meal and fellowship for $5 donation; 7 to 8 p.m., main meeting and worship; 8 to 9 p.m., small group breakout time, and 9 to 10 p.m., coffee and dessert.

There is no charge except for the meal. The public is invited.
