Concert, silent auction will benefit Royal High music programs
Event begins tonight at 6 p.m.

The Royal High School Instrumental Music Department and Band Boosters will host their annual Silent Auction starting at 6 p.m. and Festival Concert at 7 p.m. today, March 7, in the school's multipurpose room, 1402 Royal Ave., Simi Valley.

Admission is $7 for adults.

All funds raised during the auction directly benefit the instrumental music department through the acquisition of instruments and musical arrangements.

The school offers a comprehensive music program which includes marching band, three wind ensembles for all music levels, three jazz bands, and a drumline and dance guard.

More than 150 students are enrolled in the music program.

The Royal High Band Boosters is an educational nonprofit that supports financially every instrumental music student and the band director.
