The Boys & Girls Club of Simi Valley recently installed new board president Sally Grant for a two-year term.
Grant served on the Simi Valley Chamber of Commerce Board for nine years, was chair from 1995 to 1996, and was named Chamber Business Person of the Year in 2004.
She also worked on the city's Vision 2020 Plan, is a 20-year member of Women's Information Network of Simi and is on the Ventura County Employers Advisory Council in addition to other associations related to her industry.
Grant has been employed with Volt Services Group for more than 21 years and serves as area manager for five Volt offices.
The Simi Valley resident graduated from Santa Barbara Business College. Grant's husband is Bill, and she has two children. She has also been involved with the Girl Scouts, 4-H Club and PTA.
"Guiding our children and giving them opportunities to live and grow in a community that is safe and offers them the education, recreation and family values is so important in their growing process," Grant said.
