Variety of camps offered through YMCA

Sign-ups are underway for the Simi Valley Family YMCA Spring Camp on March 24 through 28.

During camp, children will have the opportunity to take field trips, swim at the YMCA and participate in a variety of games. Campers in kindergarten through second grade will be part of Sunshine Camp at the YMCA child-care facility at White Oak Elementary School, 2201 Alscot Ave., Simi Valley.

Children in third and fourth grades will have a week of hands-on activities at Snap Dragon Camp at Justin Elementary School, 2245 N. Justin Ave., Simi Valley.

Youths in grades five and six will be in April Showers Camp at Katherine Elementary School, 5455 Katherine St., Simi Valley.

The cost for all camps is $170 per camper. A non-traveling camp will also be offered this year for children who want all the fun in one place.

Groundhog Camp, for campers in kindergarten through fifth grade, will be held at Hollow Hills Elementary School, 828 Gibson Ave., Simi Valley.

The cost for this camp is $145 for five days and $115 for three days.

Camp hours are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Free care before and after regular hours is provided from 6:30 to 9 a.m. and from 4 to 6:30 p.m.
