Domestic dispute leads to violence

Simi Valley resident Jamie Braga, 44, was arrested for allegedly stabbing her estranged husband in the arm at 10:05 p.m. Feb. 29.

Officers arrived at the husband's residence, 1134 Wilson St. in Simi Valley, in response to a report of a stabbing in progress.

Officers found Braga standing in the front yard holding a knife, according to police reports.

The suspect had allegedly come over to the Wilson Street residence and made threatening statements to both her estranged husband and adult son.

While the victim was taking Braga home, she allegedly stabbed him in the arm with a knife. The adult son, who heard his father call for help, telephoned 911.

Braga was arrested without incident and booked at the Ventura County Main Jail.

She remains in jail as of Thursday. Her bail is set at $510,000.
