Spring arts & crafts fair coming up

The Simi Valley Senior Center will host the annual Spring Arts & Crafts Fair and Rummage Sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and Saturday, March 14 and 15 at the Simi Valley Senior Center, 3900 Avenida Simi.

Jewelry, wood sculptures, pottery, needlecraft and other items made by skilled senior artisans will be for sale.

The Simi Valley Council on Aging will conduct a rummage sale of gently-used items.

Admission to the fair is free.

In conjunction with the fair, the Council on Aging and the Rotary Club of Simi Valley Noon-timers will sponsor an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast on March 15 from 8 to 11 a.m. with tickets available at the door for $4.

The menu includes pancakes, bacon, orange juice and coffee. Proceeds will benefit the Simi Valley Meals on Wheels Program, which provides meals to homebound seniors.
