Rotary club offers $14,000 in scholarships to Simi seniors

The Rotary Club of Simi Sunrise has applications available for its annual scholarship awards.

This year the Simi Sunrise Rotary Charitable Foundation, working with the club, has made a total of $14,000 available for seniors who are graduating from high schools in the Simi Valley area.

The awards will be based primarily on the applicant's efforts to help in community activities rather than only academic achievements.

The awarded money will be placed in an account at the school of the student's choice for use in paying tuition or buying books.

Printed applications are available at the counseling offices at local high schools.

Applicants may also download forms from www .rotaryclubofsimisunrise.com.

The deadline to submitted completed forms is April 17.

Applications can either be turned in to the school counseling office or mailed to Roger Coger, 1985 Yosemite Ave., Ste. 241, Simi Valley, CA 93063.
