Local library hosting parent focus group

The Simi Valley Library will host a parent focus group to gather information in a facilitated discussion with parents, teachers, tutors and others who support children's learning as part of the library's strategic planning process.

The group will meet at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, March 13 at the library, 2969 Tapo Canyon Road, Simi Valley.

"We are looking forward to a meaningful dialogue with parents and teachers on issues that are important to them and to their children," said Lori Karns, Ventura County Library Children's Services.
