Beer bust gets busted, three arrested

Three suspects were arrested for robbing the Vons grocery store at 1855 Cochran St. on Feb. 7.

The suspects entered the store at 7:04 p.m., selected a six-pack of beer and tried to leave the store without paying. The store manager tried to stop the suspects, but they fought back and left the store with the stolen beer.

Simi Valley police officers arrested Gui Peterson, 18, of Simi Valley, at the scene. Two juveniles, a male and female both age 17 and of Simi Valley, were arrested later the same day.

Peterson was booked at the Ventura County Jail and the two juvenile suspects were cited to Ventura County Probation.
