Native American art on display

The Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area will present a contemporary Native American art exhibit from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every weekend through Monday, March 3 at the Satwiwa Native American Indian Culture Center in Newbury Park.

The exhibit features a collection of Valena Broussand Dismukes photography titled "The Red-Black Collections" featuring people of mixed African and American Indian heritage. For more information, call (805) 375-1930 or (805) 370-2301.
