Shopping cart conundrum

Is it too much to ask if the homeowners and their visitors shopping in our fair city return the borrowed shopping carts back to their rightful owners?

It seems that there is a growing birth of shopping carts in our neighborhoods that are unable to find their way back to their mothers.

It is not only unattractive to see these abandoned vehicles of rust sitting in our neighboring yards- including my own- it is also a form of theft. This is also an added expense for the establishment to replace them so the circle of shopping can begin again.

Be a thoughtful person and return your shopping cart to your store of choice. All of us will thank you for it. Randy Campbell Simi Valley
