District offers climate change presentation

The Air District, at the request of the Ventura County Air Pollution Control Board, is offering a speaker presentation on the impact of global climate change.

District engineer Don Price will make a 20minute PowerPoint presentation on the current and future results of this condition and the work being done at the national, state and local level to reduce the impact of climate change.

Price has actively monitored the issue since the passage of the Global Warming Solutions Act of 2006 and serves on a statewide committee on global climate change.

The presentation is appropriate for service, business, community, senior, college, and church and synagogue groups.
