Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market has opened its first Ventura County store in Simi Valley at Alamo and Tapo streets.
The new store offers fresh, wholesome foods at affordable prices, wider aisles for faster shopping, and a mix of national brand products as well as Fresh & Easy private label products.
During the grand opening on Feb. 6, For the Troops Organization received a $1,000 contribution from the store.
For the Troops provides support to front line soldiers and Marines serving in Iraq and Afghanistan by sending care packages filled with goodies from home, such as candy, beef jerky, trail mix, baby wipes, hand sanitizer, foot powder, Q-tips, batteries, games and cards. The donation will cover postage for 111 care packages.
