Flying is not fun
      I used to love to fly. I used to be able to afford to fly. Today, flying is more expensive than ever. And there are more lines, there's more work, and there's more hassle. My family and I recently took a vacation to enjoy the snow in Colorado. We took a plane.

Student's vocal concert will benefit senior center
Performance will begin tonight at 7 p.m.
      Michael Vannelli, a resident of Thousand Oaks and a senior at Santa Susana High School in Simi Valley, will sing in "The Best is Yet to Come," a vocal concert benefiting the Simi Valley Senior Center, at 7 p.m. tonight, Feb. 15 at the senior center, 3900 Avenida Simi.
