Entry deadline near for Miss Teen CA

The entry deadline is Friday, Feb. 15 for the 29th annual Miss Teenage California Scholarship Pageant.

The program will be held April 18 to 20 at the Radisson Hotel at Los Angeles Airport.

The winner will receive a $10,000 college scholarship, $5,000 cash, $1,500 wardrobe, computer, camera, iPod, luggage, wristwatch and an allexpensespaid trip to compete in the Miss Teen World-United States Pageant. The four state runners-up will also receive scholarships.

Candidates are judged on poise, presence in formal wear, personality, and achievements and activities. There is no swimsuit or talent competition.

Female students who are 13 to 19 years old, single, never married and never a parent may apply.
