On Jan. 24, two 27-year-old men were arrested on the 2700 block of Tapo Canyon Road and charged with attempted murder, committing crime for the benefit of a street gang and committing a hate crime.

A 20-year-old man was arrested Jan. 24 on the 7000 block of Smith Road and charged with sale of methamphetamines and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Two bicycles and two helmets valued at $650 were reported stolen from a home on the 5500 block of Shoshone Street on Jan. 24.

A 42-year-old man was arrested and charged with domestic infliction of corporal injury on Jan. 25 at an undisclosed location.

On Jan. 25, a 45-year-old man was arrested on the 1100 block of E. Los Angeles Avenue and charged with two counts of theft with priors and possession of methamphetamines.

A laptop valued at $1,200 was reported stolen from a vehicle on Olympic Court on Jan. 25.

Stereo equipment valued at $1,900 was reported stolen Jan. 25 from a vehicle on the 2500 block of Gayle Place.

A 19-year-old man was arrested Jan. 26 on the 2900 block of Tapo Canyon Road and charged with commercial burglary and false presentation to a police officer.

On the corner of First Street and Ayhens Street, a 36-year-old man was arrested and charged with false citizenship on Jan. 26.

Camera equipment and other personal property valued at $2,872 were reported stolen from a vehicle on the 6000 block of Mohican Street on Jan. 27.

Personal property valued at $870, including a 9mm semiautomatic pistol, was reported stolen Jan. 28 from a home on the 1300 block of Rambling Road.

A 22-year-old man was arrested at an undisclosed location Jan. 28 and charged with possession of marijuana for sale, receiving stolen property and unlawful possession of a firearm by a probationer.

On Jan. 28, a mountain bike valued at $3,200 was reported stolen from a home on the 800 block of Easy Street.

A 28-year-old man was arrested and charged with illegal dumping of sewage on the 1700 block of Erringer Road on Jan. 28.

A laptop valued at $1,000 was reported stolen from a vehicle on the 4400 block of Kadota Street on Jan. 30.

Video game equipment and cash worth $240 was reported stolen from a home on the 2000 block of Sherman Street on Jan. 30.

On the 4600 block of Hempstead Street, a $500 GPS system was reported stolen from a vehicle on Jan. 30.
