Local woman nominated for 'Worship Artist of the Year'
Vocalist attends Discovery Church

Erica Dean of Simi Valley has been nominated as "Worship Artist of the Year" in the third annual Momentum Awards, which will be handed out at the IndieHeaven CIA Summit2008 conference on March 29. IndieHeaven.com is an organization supporting independent artists in Christian music.

Dean is sought after to lead worship in numerous churches and has an active ministry singing for women's events and retreats.

Her music has been sung in worship services, outdoor festivals and children's choirs.

Dean's worship concerts have taken her to other states and the Philippines.

Dean serves as part of the worship team at Discovery Church in Simi Valley. She recently released the CD "Devoted."
