Job Shadow Day returns to Moorpark College

The Career Transfer Center of Moorpark College will host the seventh annual Job Shadow Day for all interested high school and college students from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 8 on the campus at 7075 Campus Road.

Participants will meet at the main stage of the Performing Arts Center for welcome and orientation from 9 to 9:20 a.m.

Career panels, demonstrations and tours will take place from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. in different locations on campus.

The panels are composed of college faculty and working professionals who will share their career experiences.

The career panels will discuss jobs in psychology and sociology, health sciences, performing arts, fine arts, engineering, science, child development and education, business, media, writing, technology and criminal justice.

The school's Exotic Animal Training and Management program will provide information on its training.

In addition to the panels and networking, a number of hands-on activities and demonstrations will be provided in the various fields.
