Support and protest at the debate

ONE-WOMAN ARMY- Amid a sea of pro-Ron Paul signs, Covina resident Katherine Nelson shouts and waves her own pro-Mike Huckabee signs on a corner outside the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library on Wednesday as, inside, the Republican candidates take part in their final debate before Super Tuesday. Dozens of demonstrators lined the streets outside the library, rooting for their chosen candidate.

BUSTIN' THE KING- Simi Valley Police Officer Alan McCord arrests "Elvis Kneivel," who declined to give his real name, as he protests outside the library grounds. Although the demonstrations were mostly peaceful, a few protestors repeatedly crossed the street against traffic and endangered themselves. "Kneivel" was arrested for crossing the street on a red light, impeding traffic and a misdemeanor count of violating a traffic officer's lawful order.
