Annual fundraiser supports spay and neuter program
Love Your Pet event now in its sixth year

The Valley Veterinary NonProfit Corporation is sponsoring the sixth annual Love Your Pet event from 6 to 11 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16 at the Wood Ranch Golf Club, 301 Wood Ranch Parkway, Simi Valley.

The evening will include dinner, dancing and both live and silent auctions.

The event raises money for the thousands of unwanted pets that are abandoned each year in Ventura County and also provides financial assistance to spay and neuter pets for qualifying county residents.

Statistics show that more than 27,000 animals are euthanized every day in the United States because caregivers do not spay or neuter their pets, which leads to unwanted puppies and kittens.

Tickets for the event are $125, available on a first come, first served basis. Valet parking is available.
