Travel, adventure show coming to Long Beach

The 13th annual Los Angeles Times Travel and Adventure Show will take place 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9 and Sunday, Feb. 10 at the Long Beach Convention Center, 300 E. Ocean Blvd.

Thousands of travel experts from around the world will showcase popular domestic and international destinations. Attendees will have the chance to plan vacations by receiving recommendations from experts.

The show will include the Los Angeles Times Stage featuring keynote seminars from the Amazing Race's host Phil Keoghan, PBS host Rick Steves and "Frommer Travel Guide" authors Pauline and Arthur Frommer.

The National Geographic Adventure Theatre will feature live seminars from world-renowned explorers, and the Global Beat Stage will offer international music and dance performances.

The Los Angeles Times Travel and Adventure Show will also feature scuba diving lessons and a rock climbing wall.

Tickets to the show are $10. Children age 16 and under are free when accompanied by an adult.
