Chamber hosting business development luncheon

The Simi Valley Chamber of Commerce will host a business development luncheon at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 16 at the Lost Canyons Golf Club, 3301 Lost Canyon Drive in Simi Valley.

Karen L. Gabler Esq., a partner in the employment law group of Nordman Cormany Hair & Compton LLC, will present an update on more than 100 new employment laws, court cases and agency decisions for 2008.

Gabler concentrates her practice on the representation of management clients in all aspects of employment advice and litigation.

She conducts workplace audits and training for managers, and writes a monthly employment law column.

Gabler is also a professor of law at the Pepperdine University School of Law and serves as the chair of the Simi Valley Chamber of Commerce.

The luncheon costs $20 per person.
