Rid yourself of e-waste

An electronic waste collection event will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Jan. 11 and 12 in the Simi Valley Town Center parking lot adjacent to the Wells Fargo Bank.

The event is open to businesses and residents on both days and is co-sponsored by the mall, CJ Seto Support Services LLC and the city of Simi Valley.

Electronic devices cannot be thrown away in the regular trash. Ewaste includes televisions, computers, cellphones and other devices that contain circuit boards.
