Santa Claus will hand out candy canes and hear Christmas wishes from children this weekend, Dec. 20 and 21, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Santa Susana Railroad Depot and Museum, 6503 Katherine Road, Simi Valley.

The event is free and open to the public. Guests are asked to bring a donation of nonperishable food for the Care and Share Christmas Basket program.

Entry to the depot is free, although charitable contributions are welcomed.

Free docent-led tours will be offered for those wishing to see the museum, stationmaster's office, waiting room and more. Visitors may also see H-0 scale trains running, interactive exhibits and information about railroad history.
