Too Posh Spa, Salon & Supply had its official grand opening Sat., Dec. 6 at 2944-E Tapo Canyon Road, Simi Valley.

Too Posh is in the El Paseo Shopping Center in the same location as the former Satori salon, near Borders and Kohl's. It is the company's second location. The other salon is at 1714 Newbury Road, Thousand Oaks.

Owner Tamara Randolph (pictured at right) knows the importance of good customer service and has worked in the salon industry in Simi Valley for the past 15 years, having owned three previous salons.

Randolph said she has been fortunate enough to employ most of the former staff that worked at Satori. Many clients and their stylists, therapists and estheticians were unable to communicate due to the salon's sudden closure last July.

Happily, the staff is looking forward to their clientele returning to the salon so that they can resume getting their services from the people that their customers know and trust.

Randolph said Too Posh is offering many great holiday specials right now and will continue them until the economy is back on track.

"We understand that people are on a budget now but still want to be able to get their services done at an affordable price. We will be happy to accommodate everyone with extremely competitive prices but having their services done in a plush upscale salon," she said.

There has been a complete makeover in the salon and spa with several new services being introduced. Randolph said her goal is for customers to be able to feel that they are going to a trendy place in Los Angeles without leaving Simi Valley. Too Posh is dedicated to continuous education so that customers are able to receive the latest techniques and trends.
