The current special is prime rib dinner for two for $36. Each dinner includes a 10-ounce cut of slowly roasted prime rib, choice of soup du jour or salad, and preference of scalloped or baked potato.

Other dinner selections are halibut Neptune, pasta dishes such as chicken checca and salads such as the warm spinach salad.

Barton's also offers breaded pork chops, chicken marsala and lamb chops marinated in Greek spices, as well as a wide variety of seafood such as shrimp, lobster tail and clams.

A Barton's specialty is the steak Diane, which is prepared at the table. The server cooks a sauce of fresh herbs, mushrooms and cream. A cooked filet mignon is added to the sauce and flambéed at the table. Steak Diane is accompanied by scalloped potatoes or garlic mashed potatoes.

Barton's opens nightly from 5 p.m. and offers a full bar and a variety of wines. Appetizers include shrimp diablo, steamed clams or the signature hearty crab cakes.

A pianist plays live on Fridays and Saturdays from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. The pianists take requests and will be adding holiday songs to the repertoire this month.
