National College Planners will hold a free workshop on getting money for college education from 7:30 to 8:45 p.m. Thurs., Dec. 4 at the Grant Brimhall/ Thousand Oaks Library; 10:30 a.m. to noon Sat., Dec. 6 at the Newbury Park Library; and 7:30 to 8:45 p.m. Mon., Dec. 8 at the Simi Valley Library.

Discussion topics include how to send children to the school of their dreams without going broke, how to triple one's eligibility for aid, how to find scholarships and grants, and how to avoid falling victim to college scholarship scams.
