GreatWay Roofing, a residential and commercial roofing company serving Ventura County and the San Fernando and Santa Clarita valleys, has named Dan Irwin as the commercial division director.

Irwin will oversee all facets of the company's commercial roofing program, including inspection, maintenance, repairs and reroofing.

Irwin came to the company this year with more than 21 years of service in various capacities with American Airlines, from flight attendant to manager on board, as well as entrepreneurial experience with several companies in the region.

His background includes construction project management experience with Bagwell Construction Services, marketing and loan familiarity with three companies including CFC Mortgage Bankers, and business management through founding and running several of his own businesses.

Founded in 1999 in Ventura County, GreatWay roofing was called Great American Roofing until a re-branding process resulted in a new name and logo this year.
