Earl Johnson Los Angeles pianist and composer Earl "Big Juicy" Johnson will perform every other Sunday through the end of the year from 7 to 10 p.m. starting Nov. 16 at Candlelight Kitchen and Bar, 2525 Stow St., Simi Valley.

Johnson, a prolific producer and songwriter, is a graduate of Boston's Berklee College of Music.

He has entertained audiences on five continents and has worked and/or toured with Patti Austin, Brian McKnight, Chaka Khan, Jeffrey Osborne, Beyoncé, Wynton Marsalis, Stevie Wonder, Gladys Knight, Kenny Lattimore and R. Kelly.

He has also composed music for several film and television projects.

There is no cover for the shows.

Also appearing with Johnson are bassist Keith Eddy and drummer Kerry Griffin.
