Holiday bazaar benefits arts center fund
Fundraiser helps buy show tickets for those who can't afford them
      The Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center Share the ARTS Program will benefit from a holiday gift and craft bazaar from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sat., Nov. 22 in front of the arts center and in the lower level multipurpose room at 3050 Los Angeles Ave., Simi Valley.

      Moorpark College presents "Speaking Movement," an evening of dance works choreographed by students, faculty and guest artists at 8 p.m. Nov. 20, 21 and 22 with a 2 p.m. matinee Sun., Nov. 23 at the Performing Arts Center Main Stage, 7075 Campus Road.

Pianist to play at local bar
      Los Angeles pianist and composer Earl "Big Juicy" Johnson will perform every other Sunday through the end of the year from 7 to 10 p.m. starting Nov. 16 at Candlelight Kitchen and Bar, 2525 Stow St., Simi Valley. Johnson, a prolific producer and songwriter, is a graduate of Boston's Berklee College of Music.

Comedy luau benefits Royal boys' soccer
      Royal High School boys' soccer presents a Comedy Luau fundraiser from 6 to 10 p.m. Thurs., Nov. 20 at the Grand Vista Hotel, 999 Enchanted Way, Simi Valley. The event features Hawaiian comedians Kamaka Brown and Jason Love and will include dinner, dessert, entertainment and a silent auction.

Fantasy novel comes to life on Royal stage
      The Royal High Drama Players will present a production of "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe" at 7 p.m. Nov. 15, 20, 21 and 22 in the multipurpose room at Royal High School, 1402 Royal Ave., Simi Valley. A special 2 p.m. matinee is scheduled for tomorrow, Sat., Nov. 15.
