Simi Valley Hospital and Ventura County Public Health will offer free flu shots from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sat., Nov. 15 in the hospital's new Patient Care Tower, 2975 N. Sycamore Drive in Simi Valley.

Vaccine will be provided on a first come, first serve basis.

Vaccinations will be available to anyone in the community, with priority given to people in one or more of the following high-risk groups: adults age 60 and over, healthcare personnel who provide direct patient care, children age 6 months to 18 years, pregnant women, anyone on aspirin therapy, anyone who has contact as a caregiver for children 6 months or younger, and adults and children with chronic medical issues such as asthma, immunosuppression or metabolic disorders.
