New flock of nurses enter the work force

Simi resident one of 16 to complete training

Sixteen nursing students completed 185 hours of nurse's training at Professional Medical Careers Institute and received their CAN pins on Oct. 17 at the Goebel Center in Thousand Oaks.

All of the students obtained their clinical experience at Mary Health of the Sick in Newbury Park and Westlake Health Care Center.
