The Braille Institute offers free workshops for individuals experiencing difficulty in daily living due to sight loss from 10 to 11:30 a.m. every Wednesday in November at the Simi Valley Senior Center, 3900 Avenida Simi.

Topics discussed will include eye diseases, available low vision services, ways to enhance vision with lighting and magnification, and an introduction to Simi Valley's Visually Impaired Persons Support Group.
