Active Adult Program

The Simi Valley Senior Center at 3900 Avenida Simi offers the following activities. For more information or to sign up, call (805) 583-6363 except where noted.

•A free yoga class will take place from 8 to 9:30 a.m. tomorrow, Nov. 8, at the senior center.

The class will cover the science of yoga, stress management, emotional culturing, breathing techniques and meditation.

•The center will host a trip on the Fillmore Murder Mystery Dinner Train on Sat., Jan. 31.

Participants will board the bus at the center at 5 p.m. and the train in Fillmore at 6:15 p.m. Arrival is scheduled for 11 p.m.

A three-course dinner is served while actors commit "murder." Guests are invited to help solve the crime.

The cost of $105 includes bus transportation, train ride, dinner show and driver's tip.

Registration is due by Jan. 14.

•A trip is scheduled for the Pechanga Resort and Casino on Thurs., Jan. 22.

The bus will leave the senior center at 8 a.m. for the casino in Temecula and arrive back around 6:15 p.m. Guests will have five hours to gamble on their own.

The cost of $20 includes a $5 coupon at the casino when signing up for a Rewards Club Card. Food and beverage at the casino is an additional cost.

Registration is due by Jan. 15.
