      Let us take time to reflect upon a politician done good, a promise kept. Peter Foy ran for election to the Ventura County Board of Supervisors District 4 and won the seat with one of his promises to bring more services to the East County Courthouse.

      In reply to Steve Ochs and Randy Campbell's recent letters in the Acorn, what they want is a community with strictly enforced CC&Rs. As Mr. Ochs drives around, he has seen that the majority of Simi Valley residents disagree with his point of view, expressed in how they live.

Every household should give $100 to Simi Unified
      I would hope that every household in Simi Valley could find a way to contribute $100 to the Simi Valley Unified School District (SVUSD). Even if they do not have children in the schools, supporting the employees of SVUSD would help anyone living in the community continue to enjoy low crime rates and revenues feeding our businesses, city resources, etc.
