Don't forget to turn those clocks back Saturday night

You'll get an extra hour on Sunday to spend with family and friends, to read or to study the ballot propositions because daylight-saving time ends at 2 a.m. Sun., Nov. 2.

Saturday night before you go to bed is also a good time to change the time on all household clocks and electronic devices, and to change the batteries on smoke alarms. Clocks are moved back in autumn.

Daylight-saving time will return at 2 a.m. Sun., March 8, 2009, when clocks will "spring forward."
