The Art Gallery at Moorpark College presents "Monsters in the Closet," a solo exhibition by Los Angeles-based artist Niku Kashef, through Nov. 15 at the gallery on campus, 7075 Campus Road.

A reception for the artist will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Thurs., Oct. 30 at the gallery.

The artist will give a talk about her work at 2:30 p.m., discussing her unique process and content. A question and answer session will follow.

Kashef's largescale photographs are described as "captivating and magical explorations of childhood dreams and memories." In this exhibit, Kashef "collects these moments of motionless childhood, through people's retold childhood stories and photographs."
