The Simi Valley Friends of the Library invites the community to attend a free Family Night at the Library from 6 to 8 p.m. Thurs., Nov. 13 at 2969 Tapo Canyon Road.

This year's theme is "Superheroes and Cool Cats Love Books!"

The event will feature children's authors Greg Trine and Barbara Jean Hicks.

There will be principals' readers theater, children's crafts, book sales, Mrs. Nelson's books, and author autographs.
