The Boys & Girls Club of Simi Valley will sponsor a scrapbooking event from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sat., Nov. 1 at the clubhouse, 2850 Lemon Drive, Simi Valley.

The event is for both beginning and advanced scrapbookers.

Participants will have a large, comfortable area for cropping and free use of tools, idea books, pens and page layouts.

Door prizes, a continental breakfast, lunch, water, coffee and tea will be provided.

Scrapbook vendors will be on site.

Participants should bring a scrapbook, supplies and enough photos to last all day.

The cost is $20 in advance or $25 at the door. The event is a fundraiser for the club.
