Simi Valley Town Center introduces Jazz at the Koi Pond music series and California Pizza Kitchen fundraiser for Simi Valley high schools in October.

Freddy Lopez and Spectrum will play from 2 to 5 p.m. Sun., Oct. 19, and Simi Valley High School Latin Jazz group will perform from 2 to 5 p.m. Sun., Oct. 26.

Both shows will be at the koi pond in the west end of the center near Macy's Women and Urban Home.

All performances are free and open to the public.

The Rotary Sunrise Youth Art and Music Festival will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sat. and Sun., Oct. 25 to 26.

Customers at California Pizza Kitchen can have 20 percent of their total purchase donated to local schools by downloading a flier from www.simivalleytc.com and presenting it to the server from Mon. to Thurs., Oct. 20 to 23.

The program benefits Apollo, Grace Brethren, Royal, Santa Susana and Simi Valley high schools.
