'NOT PEANUTS, ACORNS'—While on a company trip in Phuket, Thailand, Marina Crome of Simi Valley shares news from her hometown with an interested elephant named Timbo. WONDERS OF EGYPT—Ida Magitt of Simi Valley pauses in front of an Alabaster Sphinx in Memphis, an ancient capital of Egypt. While on a tour of Egypt's wonders, Magitt enjoyed learning the history of the valley of kings, queens, pyramids and temples.
