Giovani Gorospe, 19, of Simi Valley was arrested on a felony charge of possession of marijuana for sale at 5:15 p.m. Sept. 23 at 2219 Medina St., Simi Valley, according to police reports.

A second man, Louis Gonzales, 23, also of Simi Valley, was arrested and released at the scene with a misdemeanor citation for possession of marijuana.

The arrests took place when detectives searched the residence with a warrant. Narcotic detectives recovered approximately 300 grams of marijuana with an estimated street value of $4,550 as well as $1,156 in cash during the search.

Police said the investigation is ongoing with the possibility of additional arrests.
