Spider exhibit coming to Natural History Museum

The Natural History Museum of Los Angeles will present a Spider Pavilion from Sun., Sept. 21 to Sun., Nov. 2 at the museum, 900 Exposition Blvd., Los Angeles.

The walk-through landscaped pavilion is home to hundreds of free-roaming spiders. Visitors can learn arachnid facts and observe spiders as they interact with one another, create webs and feed on their prey. Guests can also play spider trivia games or take nighttime flashlight tours.

Timed tickets are available inside the museum, with first availability for purchase at 10 a.m. and final sale at 4:30 p.m. Cost is $3 for adults, $2 for students and seniors, and $1 for children ages 5 to 12. Members receive free admission and the first available tickets.

Museum hours are 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekends and holidays. Admission is $9 for adults, $6.50 for children.
