Experience a new perspective at interactive exhibit
      The California Oil Museum will host a new traveling exhibit, "A View From Space," from Oct. 3 through Dec. 28 at 1001 E. Main St., Santa Paula. The exhibit will open at 6 p.m. Fri., Oct. 3 with a special reception and viewing party hosted by the Ventura County Astronomical Society.

Spider exhibit coming to Natural History Museum
      The Natural History Museum of Los Angeles will present a Spider Pavilion from Sun., Sept. 21 to Sun., Nov. 2 at the museum, 900 Exposition Blvd., Los Angeles. The walk-through landscaped pavilion is home to hundreds of free-roaming spiders.
