Some folks just can't seem to pick up after their pets
When I was a kid, I had a great pet Husky. The first thing my parents taught me was to pick up after him when he decided to "drop his appreciation" on neighboring lawns when out for a walk. This is sound advice for all pet owners to follow.
However, it seems that some pet owners do not follow that sound advice when walking their pets or letting them run ramped at all hours of the night, dropping their "appreciation" wherever they choose.
When I walk across my lawn or mow it, I find their pets' "appreciation" dropped like land mines in a battlefield. Believe me, this is something you don't want to step on or clean up.
While I prepare to set up a camera to identify the culprits, do any Simi Valley residents have any ideas that could help me?
On another note, I submitted a letter to the Acorn regarding lone shopping carts a while ago, and now my neighborhood is shopping cart free. Thank you, Acorn and all its valued readers. Randy Campbell Simi Valley
