The city of Simi Valley is accepting applications to fill two public atlarge positions through December 2009 on the Sustainable Simi Valley Committee.

Applicants must be 18 years or older and residents of Simi Valley.

Committee members serve in an advisory capacity to the City Council of citywide sustainability actions, including development of a green building ordinance and energy-efficient actions.

Individuals with some knowledge or interest in green building, alternative energy or sustainable development are encouraged to apply. Meetings are held the fourth Tuesday of every month.
