Woman continues nonprofit work despite husband's death

      Ben Kendall and his wife, Sheila Scott-Kendall, didn't know July 29 would be their last day together. Kendall had seen his doctor earlier in the day to have his heart checked. Though the certified public accountant seemed in good health, he died unexpectedly that evening. The couple would have celebrated their 23rd wedding anniversary on Aug. 11.
