Neighbors' tips lead to arrests for meth possession

The Simi Valley Police Department's Narcotic Unit recently arrested three Simi Valley residents on narcotic charges.

According to police reports, citizens complained of suspicious drug sales activity at a house in the 2200 block of Sequoia Avenue. The police, with a search warrant, searched the residence at 4:30 p.m. Aug. 19. A small amount of methamphetamine was found in the house.

Rodney Zeugin, 42, was arrested for meth possession and for being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Katherine Beck, 35, was also arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Deborah Salas, 42, was placed in custody for meth possession, parole violations, and for being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Zeugin and Salas were booked into the Ventura County Jail pending court proceedings. Beck was released with a notice to appear.
