The Simi Valley Council on Aging will host the Wellness and Information Expo from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wed., Sept. 10 at the Simi Valley Senior Center, 3900 Avenida Simi.

The expo will present free health screening and resources to help seniors age actively and gracefully.

More than 60 agencies will provide resources. Representatives from public and private agencies and organizations will distribute information about health and social services, legal assistance, longterm care, adult education opportunities and more.

Simi Valley Hospital, Echo Tech Imaging and Regal Medical Group will offer carotid artery screenings all day.

Buena Vista Hospice and Blue Cross will provide complimentary massage chairs.

The Kidney Foundation will sign up eligible participants for a free kidney screening to be held at the senior center on Sept. 20.

Community Medical Group will offer complimentary bone density, glucose and blood pressure screenings.
